Chloe, the daughter of Jonathan and Amy Eckelberg, died unexpectedly at 9-months old. She was born into a family of racers at La Crosse Speedway. As a way to keep Chloe's spirit alive, this scholarship is meant to bring joy and happiness to members of the racing community as they work toward their education goals.
Information:
A minimum of two $500 scholarships will be awarded.
Amount of scholarship could equal more than $500 depending on the funds available.
Criteria:
- Must be enrolled or enrolling at a university or technical college the following calendar year. (2022 Spring or Fall semester).
- Must provide proof of minimum 2.5 GPA and good standing at the conclusion of a semester before scholarship will be awarded.
- Must be currently and actively involved with La Crosse Speedway (ex.: races, pit crew, works at track, family member races, etc.)
- Pursuing a program in a mechanics or engineering field is a bonus but not required.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to proofread their answers before submitting their form. Please consider explaining long-form answers in detail. Past scholarship recipients are welcome to apply as long as they meet criteria. Receiving the scholarship in the past does not guarantee that you will or will not receive the scholarship this year.
