Mondays - Advanced ladder (DUPR 4.0 - 8.0)

All matches will be played at the new Pompano Pickleball Courts with the best lights in the area.

601 S Pompano Ave, Sarasota, behind Robards Arena, off Fruitville Road.

 

Choose up to seven of the 10 weeks to play. You have the option to be a sub for your bye weeks. You must play at least five weeks to be eligible for the Championship Round. 

 

Each week players compete in groups of five players based on ladder position, rotating partners each game. Each group plays five games to 15 (win by one), and each player rests one game. 

 

Your ladder position is determined by the percent of possible points you earn plus win bonuses. Earn a +1 point bonus for each win and an additional +2 bonus if you sweep all four games in a session. Initial ladder position for the season is seeded by prior ladder performance and/or DUPR rating.

 

At the end of the 10 week season, the top players compete in a Championship Round for prizes and medals. All players plus their friends and family are invited to a League Social on the same night. 


We will play DUPR matches that will count toward your DUPR rating. DUPR is a modified Elo algorithm that is the most accurate global rating system for pickleball. No DUPR rating yet? No worries. Just visit https://mydupr.com/ to set up your free account.

If you have no preference regarding which weeks to make your byes, check play for all weeks, and I will assign your bye weeks based on league needs. If you make yourself available as a sub on bye weeks, I may contact you if someone cannot play in their reserved slot. Every effort will be made to honor everyone's preferred schedule, but priority will be given according to sign up order. The full schedule will be shared, and we will resolve any conflicts, before the season begins. *
