Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS) is a psychotherapeutic approach to working with patients who have thoughts of suicide. It is appropriate for all mental health clinicians as well as graduate students in clinical mental health programs.
This training is being funded by a partnership between the Campus Suicide Prevention Center of Virginia, the Virginia Department of Health, and the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services. It is being offered at no cost to all mental health clinicians within the state of Virginia, as well as graduate students in Virginia-based mental health/clinical training programs.
TO REGISTER: Complete the following form. PLEASE NOTE that you will have access to the online course for 60 days from your start date. Please register only if you can complete the entire training in that time. Training can be divided across multiple days and viewed multiple times.
Continuing education credits are available for you to purchase through CAMS.
Requests are processed manually by our team, so please allow us up to 72 hours to add you to the CAMS system. That said, most requests are typically processed the same day if you register during regular business hours.
