Education through Art is celebrating its third annual Bring Your Own Pumpkin event with a new location in Westchester County! Join us on October 20th at 3:45 p.m. in the side yard of Briarcliff Nursery School.
40 Morningside Drive, Ossining NY 10562 (raindate October 27th).
During this session, we will sing seasonal songs, listen to a read aloud, dance along to spooky season music and create pumpkin art together. Come in costume to win a prize! Enjoy Briarcliff Nursery School's natural playground following the guided session. All ETA sessions are led by licensed educators.
This session will be led by ETA Instructor and Macaroni KID Publisher, Kelly Fitzpatrick.
In order to reserve your spot, please send your payment of $40 per child to our Venmo account @Carly-Paige-Meyer. If you are bringing more than one child, please make sure you fill out a form for each additional child you bring. Your spot is not reserved until you have registered using the form and sent a payment.
For the event we recommend bringing 2 medium to large sized pumpkins. We also recommend you bring a blanket to sit on and wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty (if wearing a costume best to remove or bring a smock for the art!)
A little bit about Education Through Art:
Our mission is to promote your child’s love for learning through engaging and developmentally appropriate art projects. All classes offered are differentiated to best support your child’s age group. Key skills and concepts will be taught and learned through real world experiences within their art project. It is our goal to promote risk taking and a growth mindset in the way your child learns from an early age. Through this class, children and parents are able to enjoy time together as they create something beautiful!
We know that learning is easier when you have an excellent teacher. All educators are NY State certified teachers in grades Birth-6th and special education. All curriculum is connected to the NY State Standards and has been developed by Carly Meyer, a NY State certified teacher in grades Birth-2, K-6, 7-12. Additionally, she holds an advanced certificate for School Building Leadership.
