Product Information
The Truman Compost Project collects food scraps from Truman dining facilities and blends them with sawdust and horse manure at the University Farm, managing the process so as to produce a soil amendment rich in organic matter.  The purpose of selecting a name is to facilitate marketing of finished, screened compost to target customers.  The compost is sold, in bulk, to gardeners and landscapers in and around Kirksville, MO.  Future plans include making compost available for sale in 1 cubic foot bags.
Instructions:
Please rank the four name choices according to your preference, identifying one as your First choice (most preferred), one as Second choice, one as Third choice, and one as Fourth choice (least preferred).  Please feel free to share any open ended comments about desirable or undesirable aspects of each name choice.  To give you some context for how the name might be used, a common usage would be as part of a label on a bag of compost for sale to an individual customer.  This label would also include information identifying the product as compost and the source/manufacturer as Truman State University.
