The UN Youth Champions for Environment and Peace programme, organized by the UN in Cyprus and British Council Cyprus, will focus on environmental peacebuilding and climate change activism and is open to persons 18-30 years old living in Cyprus.

The programme will run online and in person in the Nicosia buffer zone over two weekends:

Saturday, 26 November and Sunday, 27 November

AND Saturday, 3 December and Sunday, 4 December

We will announce the days that the programme will be in person and online soon.

The deadline to submit your applications is Sunday, 13 November.

Applicants may be contacted for an interview. We aim to notify successful applicants by Wednesday, 16 November. Selected participants will receive a detailed programme once they’re selected.

UNFICYP will share your data with the British Council for programme related purposes.
