CAMP POLICIES – ACKNOWLEDGEMENT SECTION

Please arrive for drop-off between 8:15 AM and 8:30 AM.

We kindly ask you not to arrive earlier than the designated times.

Drop-off and pick-up will take place at a designated area outside the church.

Parents will receive a flyer to display on their vehicle’s dashboard at 6:00 p.m. to help ensure a smooth and efficient pick-up.

All children must be checked out through our safety team before they are permitted to leave the premises. This ensures a secure and organized pick-up process for everyone.

If you need to pick up your child early, please send a written note with them and ensure they inform their herd leader in advance so we can prepare accordingly.

Half-day participation is prohibited, and children may not be dropped off at unscheduled times throughout the day. This policy is in place to ensure camper safety and to provide a consistent experience so no child misses out on essential activities or moments.

Lunch and dinner will be provided for all registered campers each day.

Children are encouraged to bring their water bottles to stay hydrated throughout the day. Refill stations will be available at multiple locations around the campgrounds.

Colored wristbands must be worn at all times and should remain on your child’s wrist for the entire duration of camp.

Closed-toe footwear is required for safety during camp activities. Recommended options include tennis shoes or boots, mainly due to proximity to livestock. Please note that flip-flops, Hey Dudes, clogs, or other slip-on shoes are not permitted.

Campers are likely to get messy during camp activities, so please dress them in comfortable and appropriate clothing for outdoor play and getting dirty.

Campers will be assigned to designated herds to ensure balanced group sizes and a positive experience. These assignments are not optional; they help promote new friendships and a fun, inclusive environment.

CAMP DRESS CODE 👖👟

As a Christian camp, RRCF encourages modesty and appropriate attire as part of representing Jesus Christ. The following dress code applies to all students and volunteers:

📌 Shorts must be modest in length.

📌 Shirts must fully cover the torso; no midriffs or bellybuttons should be visible, even when arms are raised.

📌 Sleeveless shirts must fully cover the shoulders. No spaghetti straps or tank tops.

📌 Undergarments must not be visible through or above clothing.

📌 Clothing must not advertise alcohol, tobacco, or inappropriate content.

📌 Clothing with profanity, satanic imagery, or content contrary to Christian values is prohibited.

📌 Proper footwear is required. Slip-on shoes are not allowed.
