High Park Staycation
​High Park Staycation programs are 2 hour outdoor nature experiences for up to 9 people.
Currently we're inviting requests for occasional Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and select Saturday mornings.

This fall, we're offering small group outdoor adventures as a safe, local, educational, and fun way to gather in a small group.

One hour hike
A HPNC nature Interpreter will lead a wander which connects to High Park's three ecosystems. You'll build your relationship with local plants and animals, and take part in fun, safely distanced activities along the way.

One hour campfire
We'll build and light a fire for your group in our beautiful restoration garden OURSpace. Here you can picnic, sit and explore the wildflowers and pollinators.
Expectations are that groups will adhere to social distancing rules with instructors and group members, ​unless you're part of the same social or household bubble​​.

This experience can be used to celebrate a loved one's special day, or simply to share a walk, learn, and gather safely around a fire in Toronto's largest park.

   Cost: $250 (for up to 9 people - to be paid in advance of program)

S'mores add-on: 2 x bags of marshmallows, 2 x boxes of graham crackers, 2 x bars of chocolate, 9 roasting sticks & plates, you take home the leftovers - $20
Apple roasting kit add-on: 1 -2 bags of apples (enough for 9 people to have 1 each, or 2 halves), jar of cinnamon sugar, spoons for sprinkling, 2 x cutting boards & knife, 9 roasting sticks, & plates - $8
Clear selection
I understand and agree that all members of my group will be expected to adhere to the necessary social distancing rules. These will apply within our group (where not part of same social bubble), with HPNC staff, and with other park patrons to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Each household unit will be asked to fill out a COVID-19 questionnaire upon arrival. *
