2024 Women in Leadership Scholarship Form

The Chamber of Commerce of the Mid-Ohio Valley is proud to continue the Women in Leadership Scholarship for the Fall 2024 semester.  The 2024 Women in Leadership Scholarship is proudly sponsored by Optimum Business.  Under the Program, one (1) $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a female student attending West Virginia University at Parkersburg located in Parkersburg, West Virginia in the Fall 2024 Semester. 

Program Guidelines & Priorities: 

Seeking female students attending West Virginia University at Parkersburg for Fall semester of 2024.  

Scholarship funds will be paid during the month of August 2024—directly to the college, not the student. The scholarship funds will be issued to the college upon receiving a certificate of enrollment for the Fall semester, which includes the Student ID number and Financial Aid Office address.

Applications must be submitted to the Chamber of Commerce of the Mid-Ohio Valley no later than 3:00 PM on May 15, 2024.  Late submissions will not be considered.

The applications will be reviewed, and recipients selected by the Women in Leadership Scholarship Committee.  The scholarship winner will be invited to attend and introduced at the Women in Leadership Conference to be held on Thursday, June 27 at Grand Pointe Conference Center.

I hereby affirm that all the above stated information provided by me is true and correct to the best of my knowledge.  I also consent, that if chosen as a scholarship winner, my picture may be taken and used to promote the Women in Leadership Scholarship Program. (Winner may waive photo due to unusual or compelling circumstances.)

 

I hereby understand that if chosen as a scholarship winner, according to Women in Leadership Scholarship policy, it is my responsibility to submit to the Chamber of Commerce of the Mid-Ohio Valley, no later than August 16, 2024, a certificate of enrollment for the Fall semester, which includes the Student ID number and Financial Aid Office address.

 

I hereby understand that incomplete applications or applications that do not meet eligibility criteria will not be considered for this scholarship.
