Curse of the Unconquered Sun
Do you ever run a campaign as a GM and go "Wait, this would have been so much better?"
If you have, then you'll understand where I'm at going into this campaign. A different version of this campaign already exists, but I have taken copious notes on plotlines I've wanted to explore, locales to develop more thoroughly, and other angles for the main plot to have taken. Essentially, it's a remastered version of a campaign I've already (mostly) run.
Set in the Shining Kingdoms region, trouble and war in equal measure brew in the wake of Gorum's death. Monsters ravage the land in droves while it warps and shifts, the ancient magic altered by the sudden influx of divine power. Rumors of elder dragons rising from slumber abound, or the tale of towns razed by young dragons wishing to prove their might. Undead seethe in age-old crypts, liches poring over tomes gifted by demons to spread their dark gifts over Golarion.
None are free from mundane threats, either; violent gangs roam the roads, technology advances in ways that make druids uncomfortable, and economic or military interests have begun to outshine respect for the land or its people. The world is changing, and your characters will have to adapt, overcome, or resist this change as you see fit.
