1. I understand that there are specific, neutral, non-discriminatory, guidelines that UTIA will follow regarding the acceptance of proposals and my submission is not a guarantee that my proposal will be accepted.
2. I understand that proposals that appear to focus on selling products or services will be rejected.
3. I understand that my proposal should provide clear objectives for what attendees will learn and how they can apply this knowledge.
4. If accepted, I understand that UTIA may record my presentation to be included as part of the UTIA archives or use photos for Outreach and Communication purposes via newsletter, website, social media and other means of communication.
5. I understand that if selected I may be asked for additional information about my presentation.
6. If accepted, I am making the commitment to prepare my presentation to the best of my ability and the quality expected, and will meet all deadlines required.
7. If accepted, and my presentation qualifies for CEU; UTIA will apply for CEU with one or more entities issuing CEU, such as AOC, ATA, CCHI, IMIA/NBCMI and/or RID. I understand and approve that UTIA applies for CEU if it decides to in order to provide CE credits.
8. I understand that if for any reason I am not able to fulfill my commitment with the UTIA Web Learning Series, I will inform UTIA by emailing them at
admin@utianet.org , as soon as I become aware of such impediment.
9. I understand that I am responsible for providing any slides and/or PDF copy of any materials that I wish to use as part of my presentation at least 7 days in advance of the presentation.
