Youth Scholarship Application
Youth ages 3-18 who demonstrate merit and financial need may apply for a scholarship to the programs offered by Flamenco Works. For consideration for the 2023-2024 Flamenco Works Scholarships, this application must be filled in completely and submitted no later than Monday, August 7th, 2023. 

You will receive a 10-minute meeting slot on Saturday, August 12th between 10-12pm, for your award notification.  A parent or guardian and the child are required to attend this meeting.

ELIGIBILITY:
- New Mexico residents may apply only.
- Applicants must demonstrate financial need; preference will be given to applicants whose total household income does not exceed 300% of the 2021 Federal Poverty Guidelines. Income verification must be provided.
- Available to youth between the ages of 3-18.
- Scholarships are available for students training at all levels at Flamenco Works.
- New students and beginning students are encouraged to apply.

DESCRIPTION OF SCHOLARSHIP:
- Scholarships awarded range from partial subsidies to full tuition. Amount of scholarship is entirely based on need.
- The scholarship is valid from Fall Semester 2023 to Summer Semester 2024. We do offer ongoing scholarship application for new students. If student applies later in the year, the scholarship end date is still Summer Semester 2024
- Students are welcome to attend as many additional classes as they would like (at their level or below) at no extra charge.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
- Families must agree to provide a copy of their 2022 tax return for income verification, as part of this application.
- Awardees must attend class regularly (minimum requirements based on student level) and must demonstrate an exceptional work ethic, including a positive attitude; respect for teachers, guest artists, and fellow students; a strong work ethic in class, and a personal drive to continually improve throughout the scholarship year period
- Scholarship parents or family members are required to volunteer fifteen (15) hours towards Flamenco Works fundraising efforts or events throughout the scholarship year period.
