inesei@lehigh.edu ABSTRACT: The increase in distributed energy resources (DERs) brings with it challenges in both modeling and parameterization of models used in transmission system impact studies. In this presentation, these challenges will be covered and few solutions will be discussed along with case studies showcasing the impact of DER on the bulk power system.
