Winter Doldrums 2024
Break out of your Winter Doldrums! Join us Friday and Saturday, Feb. 9 & 10 for socializing and strategizing at the Country Inn & Suites in Port Clinton.
Friday:
  • Starting at 7:00 is a BYOB Social in the hotel's breakfast room. Bring an appetizer or snack to share.
Saturday:
  • Light lunch in the hotel's breakfast room from 11:30 to 12:30.
  • Town Hall meeting will be at the Liberty Aviation Museum at 1:00 with an optional museum tour afterward.
  • Dinner is at 1812 Food & Spirits starting at 6:00 with cocktails to start.
  • After dinner we will return to the hotel for games and hanging out
Reservations and menu selections for Saturday's dinner are required by January 31.

Dinner selections and prices for Saturday evening/1812 Food & Spirits:

  • 1812 Salad Arcadian greens topped with bleu cheese, toasted almonds, port wine soaked cranberries.  Served with walnut raspberry vinaigrette on side $18
    Add chicken breast +$8, fried chicken tenders +$8, sirloin steak +$12, grilled shrimp +$10, grilled Salmon +$10, cold water lobster tail +$13, Seared ahi tuna +$12, or Seared sea scallops +$13
  • Prime Rib “certified Angus Reserve Prime” 12 oz. prime rib, slow roasted with blend of seasonings, served with au jus, raw horseradish, side salad, and duchess potatoes; [specify rare, med-rare, med, med-well, well] $48 
  • 1812 Chicken 7 oz. Ohio organic, free-range chicken breast baked with parmesan breading, flash fried, baked with creamy alfredo sauce, provolone cheese, asparagus, and grated parmesan. Served with side salad and duchess potatoes $28
  • Fresh Walleye 8 oz. Lake Erie Walleye lightly breaded, sautéd and finished with a champagne-garlic butter sauce. Served with side salad and your choice of side dish. $36
  • Side dishes: duchess potatoes, french fries, baked potato, forester fries, vegetable du jour, seasoned jasmine rice or angel hair garlic pasta ali olio
    • Creamy parmesan risotto, crispy fried brussel sprouts in garlic butter or grilled asparagus +$4
