URBAN CIRCUS LAB is an initiative born from the growing links between the different organisations that are associated in the project, giving rise to a Training Course that will take place in September 2023 in Huesca, Spain.

The activities will be carried out in Centro Cívico Santiago Escartín Otín, where 17 people from Germany, Italy, France and Spain, brought together by the tool of circus, participating during 8 days.

The main objective of this project is to increase the knowledge of circus among people who works with young by exchanging knowledge and establishing values to generate a culture in the region and in their original places. At the same time, we want to promote the powerful tool that is the circus and actively collaborate with the Huesca fair.

The project is oriented to profesionals and youth workers (no age limited) who are related to organisations from different countries and practicing different circus tools or disciplines. The aim is not only to develop physical skills but also creativity and diverse social skills such as communication, empathy and cooperation. The activities will be based on the methods of non-formal education, mainly focus in dramaturgy, clown, social circus and inclusion.
