Thank you for your interest in Bee Scientifics' honey bee breeding stock for the 2023-2024 season.
We offer four tiers of breeder queens with limited numbers available in the top 2 tiers.
All queens are inseminated with 6 microlitres of semen and have demonstrated acceptance by bees.
Pedigree information will be provided for each breeder mapping lineage to queen and drone mother origins.
Tier 1: Minimum 4 months old, meets all selection criteria. $1430
Tier 2: Less than 3 months old. Hatched worker brood. Workers are consistent in appearance Solid laying pattern. Well attended by nurse bees. $1070
Tier 3: Less than 1 month old. Guarantee laying with solid pattern. Well attended by nurse bees. $800
Tier 4: Less than three weeks old, directly from queen bank. Accepted by bank bees. $440
Insights into traits and qualities of each line will be available down the track as we collect performance data.
We offer Italian and Caucasian x Carniolian breeder queens and will also produce a limited number of Caucasian x Carniolian inseminated with Italian drones for hybrid production hives.
Stock will be available on a continual basis through out the season Please let us know if you have any questions.
PLEASE NOTE: Our first shipment will be hand-delivered by us to Northern NSW suppression zone November 11th for our northern (NSW, QLD, etc) customers. Limited numbers are available on this shipment. If you are interested, please fill in this form in asap. Victorian and South Australian customers, please contact us for pickup/delivery options. Breeders WILL NOT be sent through Australia Post.
