2022 Huron Symphony Band and Concert Green New York City Tour / Carnegie Hall Performance Commitment Survey
The Ann Arbor High School Band Programs have been invited to perform at Carnegie Hall on March 30th 2022. This showcase would feature bands from Huron, Pioneer, and Skyline on the main stage at the historic Carnegie Hall. The band members would also be partaking in masterclasses with world class musicians, visiting iconic sights and sounds around NYC, and having the opportunity to share a once in a lifetime experience with our band community.

The invitation to perform has been extended to Concert Band Green and Symphony Band and this opportunity will be available to all students who are enrolled in Concert Green and Symphony  Band for the 2021-2022 school year.   We would need significant interest, balanced instrumentation from each ensemble, and a commitment to fundraise for those students who may have financial challenges, in order to make each ensemble viable for  touring.

The purpose of this performance is to showcase our Ann Arbor Band traditions and talent to a world class audience in a world class hall, as well being able to share a life changing performance with our sister schools in Ann Arbor.  Our proposed travel dates would be March 27th through April 1st and would require advanced planning from all of our families including planning and participation of fundraisers to assist students who may need financial support.

This form needs to be filled out by Friday, June 18th (11:59pm). All families in Concert Green and Symphony Band are expected to fill out this form so the directors can form a timely plan of action for this tour.
