RE Cares 2019 is a collocated event at the International Conference on Requirements Engineering 2019 (Jeju Island, South Korea).  

It is the second event in the series. The goal of RE Cares series of events is to develop, over the course of the RE conference, the requirements and design specification, and a prototype of software that helps solve a specific set of goals for a local (to the location of the conference) stakeholder, who, under normal circumstances would not have immediate access to a software design/development team.

This is the Requirements Engineering version of "Computer Science for social good".
