Information from this survey will be utilized to help determine when that shift is most appropriate. While the State's Tiered system determines when a school may reopen, per California Department of Public Health guidance a school's ability to remain open is dependent upon class, school, and district positivity rates.
Class: A 5% positivity rate of COVID-19 in students and teachers will require a classroom to be closed with 14 days of quarantine.
• EXAMPLE: Pacific View classrooms with 12-15 students would be required to close and quarantine for 14 days if 1 student tested positive.
School: A 5% positivity rate of COVID-19 in students and teachers will require a school to close with 14 days of quarantine.
• EXAMPLE: Pacific View Moore avenue would be required to close and quarantine for 14 days if 2 (5%) students test positive.
