Seniors who demonstrate good work ethic, responsibility, behavior will have the option to leave campus at lunch and/or during any 1st or 8th period study halls. These privileges serve as an excellent incentive to motivate senior students. Therefore, senior off-campus privilege is an earned privilege.
During the first week of school, seniors are required to have lunch on campus, to attend advisory, and to attend any 1st or 8th period study halls. After the first week, seniors who meet the criteria listed below will be allowed to have off-campus lunch and off-campus 1st or 8th period scheduled study hall.
Late Arrival - Seniors who have a 1st period study hall have the option of attending study hall or staying off campus until the beginning of 2nd period. Students must sign in at the office if arriving to school after the beginning of 1st period. If seniors have 1st and 2nd period study halls consecutively, then they may stay off campus until 3rd period.
Early Release - Seniors who have an 8th period study hall have the option to remain on campus for study hall, or sign out in the Upper School Office to leave the campus early. Seniors who have 6th, 7th, or 8th period study halls consecutively may sign out at the beginning of the appropriate study hall period. Seniors who have a 6th and/or 7th period study hall and a class or Athletics 7th or 8th may not come back late from lunch or leave and return to campus for their class. Early release only applies to students with consecutive end of the day study halls and no classes and/or athletics.
*The administration reserves the right to suspend or revise the senior off-campus earned privileges if there is any abuse of the system or if the program does not seem to serve the best interests of our students.
