Mercer University School of Medicine - Macon invites you to attend our Underrepresented Minorities in Medicine First Look Event on April 4th.

This event provides undergrads with the opportunity visit the Macon campus and hear from several students and residents about their journey to medical school as well as their experiences as doctors in training. This panel discussion will allow for a Q & A component where attendees can ask their questions to the panel.

Students will get the opportunity to hear from Dr. Yameika Head, Program Director of the Pediatric Residency Program at Navicent Health Medical Center, as well as the Assistant Dean of Diversity, Wanda Thomas.

Attendees will hear from the Associate Dean Of Admissions with what they are looking for in an application; helpful tips on the interview process. They will also be able to participate in a suture clinic.  

Lunch will be provided. Check-in will begin at 8:30 AM and the event will last from 9 AM-2:00 PM.

You will be notified of your acceptance for First Look within a week of your registration.
