Based upon their knowledge of each student, building staff members work as a team in the placement decisions for the coming year to ensure balanced classrooms.  Our goal is for your child to receive a placement that best meets the needs of their learning style. Factors considered when making student placement decisions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Academic ability
• Special instructional support needed
• General work habits and behavior
• Peer Relationships
• Ratio of males to females

If you feel your input would be helpful in making the best possible placement decision for your child, please submit the request below to the main office no later than:
• May 8th for Lynch, Murphy, Schickler and Turrill
 
It is important that your requests are considered before the classroom placements for the next school year are completed.  While the information you are submitting is taken under careful consideration, it is impossible to grant all requests for placement.  Our goal is to have all classrooms with a well-balanced mix of learning styles and personalities.
