The Hall of Fame is a system for honoring alumni and former staff members who have distinguished themselves; through high levels of achievement in his/her field; who receive meritorious distinction in the community, state, or nation; or who have dedicated themselves to outstanding community service. These honored QISD alumni and retirees are people who exemplify excellence and the characteristics that we endeavor to instill in our students. This program of recognition will reinforce to the students of Quinlan ISD the importance of scholarship, honor, integrity, courage, and leadership.

Nomination Criteria:
• Nominees must be at least fifty years old by the nomination deadline to be eligible for nomination. Former employees must have at least twenty years of service and retired from service at least five years prior to nomination.
• A nominee has been recognized by his/her peers for a high level of achievement in his/her field and made significant contributions to that field at the state, national, and/or international levels.
• A nominee has demonstrated leadership, character, and service by sharing his/her expertise for community, state, or national initiatives.
• Nominees whose conduct is not deemed worthy of emulation by the students of QISD (including, but not limited to, felony convictions) will be disqualified.
• Anyone may submit a completed nomination form for consideration. Alumni/retirees cannot nominate themselves. Posthumous nominations will be accepted.

The nomination deadline is August 15, 2022. The selection committee will meet and review all nominations and will choose up to two candidates each year for induction to the Hall of Fame. Nominations will be kept on file and reconsidered for the next year. After two years, a candidate must be re-nominated for consideration. Nominations must be complete with all required documentation to be considered. Inductees will be presented with a distinctive award.
