Miyawaki Forest Maintenance in Cambridge, MA
The Danehy Park Miyawaki Forest, planted in September 2021, is now in its first year. With the help and stewardship of a core team of volunteers, the forest will grow into a self-sustaining ecosystem. Volunteers will visit the forest to remove weeds, collect any litter, and monitor the forest's health.

We are asking volunteers to make a commitment of visiting at least twice a month starting in June, understanding that people may need to miss shifts here and there. Once we have your availability, we will develop a schedule, confirm times with you, and set up teams and training.

Find out more about the forest at https://bio4climate.org/miyawaki-forest/ and direct any questions to maya.dutta@bio4climate.org.
