Thank YOU for volunteering to mentor a student!
Mission: JHSJP provides Baltimore City students the opportunity to complete an eight-week paid internship in one of various participating departments throughout the Institution. The program promotes exposure to careers and workplace culture, while providing an educational experience that promotes mentoring and fosters personal responsibility.

Statement on Qualifications: Students must meet general requirements (may take into consideration attendance records and GPA) as specified and selected by the SJP Committee and must also submit a formal application. Although accepted students are held to a high standard, age or skill level of participating students cannot be guaranteed. The SJP Committee will do its best to ensure a successful match between a program-qualified student and appropriate department, based most strongly upon the student’s area of interest.  Thank you.
