Library Card Application (Prince Memorial Library)
Prince Memorial Library (PML) serves Cumberland and North Yarmouth and is funded by taxpayers in both towns. Residents, property owners, and people who work or are students in the towns of Cumberland or North Yarmouth are eligible for free library cards with proof of residence/ownership/employment. Non-residents are also welcome to apply for a card for an annual fee of $40.

All of our policies, including our borrowing policy, can be viewed on our website. Your electronic signature on this form indicates that:
  1. You have been informed of the State of Maine's laws regarding patron privacy as it relates to library card ownership. 
  2. You agree to PML's Borrowing Policy.
Upon receiving this form, PML will create your account, and your card will be issued upon your first visit. When you come to the library to pick up your card for the first time: 
  • Adults:  Bring a photo ID and proof of residency with you (license, car registration, a piece of mail, etc.). If you are employed in Cumberland or North Yarmouth, please bring proof of employment. 
  • Teens, Ages 12-17: Bring a school ID or a school schedule. 
  • Youth, Ages 11 and under: Parent/guardians must show a photo ID and proof of residency or present an existing PML library card.
Once you have received your card, you may visit our catalog at https://princememorial.goalexandria.com/ and begin placing items on hold. You may also download the CloudLibrary app onto any smart device and input your library card number and begin borrowing items.
