Traces of the Trade Screening
Traces of the Trade: A Story from the Deep North. Traces of the Trade offers a new and provocative perspective on the slave trade. The film follows ten descendants as they journey along the Triangle Trade route.  Traces of the Trade is a compelling documentary which not only offers its audience the opportunity  to reflect  on the often untold story of the North's role in the slave trade, but also provides a context to discuss ways in which citizens can work to build connections among diverse individuals and organizations today.

This event will take place on Friday, February 26 from 6-9pm. We’ll be spending the first 90 minutes or so watching the film, so grab yourself a casual dinner to enjoy during the presentation. After which we will have a discussion with other community members about the issues raised in the film. Dain and Constance Perry, who appear in the film, will be there to help moderate the post-film discussion.
