Kunsthal Gent welcomes artist Jesse Jones en researcher Sara O’Rourke in residency. During their stay, they will take up a studio (het Oud Huis) to further explore how this project might evolve in a post pandemic future.

This research process starts with an open studio on the 14th of July, inviting the public and Syllabus reading group to come and join for a workshop exploring the figure of the Sheela na Gig, through hands on making and discussion. The workshop aims to reclaim the sensory experience and the physical space of art through play and experimentation with objects and through making processes.
