RMS CHEERLEADING TRYOUT FORM 2024
1.   Please fill out this form in completion by Wednesday, April 17th,  if you are interested in trying out for the RIVERSIDE MIDDLE SCHOOL  Cheerleading Team for the 2024-2025  School Year.  

2.  Please DOWNLOAD the TRYOUT Information Packet  (or fill out the form you received at the meeting)

3.  You must complete all of the ATHLETIC FORMS on the RMS Website and turn them into the office at RMS by  Wednesday, April 17th .   These forms can be found by following this link:

Completed forms from RMS Athletics website include :
• Physical Form (*physicals must be renewed every 365 days)
• Sudden Cardiac Awareness Form
• GHSA Concussion Awareness Form
• Student Insurance Form with copy of Insurance Card.

4. All current RMS students must have teacher referrals from all four contents.  These forms will be delivered to your teachers by the coaching staff.  Teacher referral sheets can be picked up outside of Coach Flanders' room (room 109) or printed from the RMS CHEER WEBSITE.

5. Athletes who make the team will need to attend the MANDATORY choreography camp, June 17-21.  

CHEER TRYOUTS will be held in the RMS GYM during the week of April 22nd-25th 
6th and 7th grade tryouts will be held Monday - Thursday from  2:45- 4:00
5th grade tryouts will be held Monday -Thursday from  4:00-5:00

VARSITY/Johannsen's REQUIRED ITEMS :  approx. $500   *bookbag/bag/rainjacket (if not already purchased) practice clothes, shoes, sweatshirt, jersey,  bows, etc.) 
OPTIONAL ITEMS:   up to $300  (additional attire, other miscellaneous items)

*The Varsity cost will be much less for any returning cheerleaders from previous years at RMS that have already purchased some of the items.
