Farmers Market Vendor Interest Survey
Thank you for participating! There are 6 questions. Here is a little background information.

CalFresh is a program that helps low-income families buy food with a debit card, called the EBT card, that works at most supermarkets and many Farmers Markets.

At Farmers Markets where the CalFresh EBT card is accepted, the cardholder goes to the information booth, swipes their card, and receives the same dollar amount of tokens to spend at the market.

Market Match is a program that doubles CalFresh benefits spent at Farmers Markets. The cardholder swipes their card and gets TWICE the dollar amount of tokens to spend at the market (up to a daily limit).

Farmers Markets that accept the CalFresh EBT card and offer Market Match have seen significantly increased sales.

Here in Santa Barbara County, all South County and some Mid County Farmers Markets accept the CalFresh EBT card and offer Market Match. However, no North County Farmers Markets do.
