Thanks for inquiry about a Booking a Private Henna Class with Skin Color Events!
Our Henna Body Art has been a big hit among teens and pre-teens at local festivals, markets and events.
Schedule a Henna Class for a group of students, after school activity, birthday party, girls night in/out or any occasion! We would also love to teach in your high school art class!
Classes available for ages 12 and up.
**Minimum of 5 people needed to book a class.
Our Henna Class is 1 hour and 30 minutes of instruction, education and practice fun!
For $20/person, each participant will learn:
• What Henna is/How it works
• A little background/history on the art
• How to hold, apply, and use a Henna cone
• Practice sheets/instructions on breaking down the basic elements that make up traditional designs
• 1 pre-made, 100% organic Henna paste cone
• 1 lotion cone to take home and continue practicing after the class
(The lotion cone is a similar consistency to Henna paste, but doesn't stain the skin)

INDOOR or OUTDOOR!
**Artist is not responsible for booking/paying for rental space if using a public space.
OUTDOOR SETUP: We would LOVE to teach a class outdoors in beautiful weather! Our artist will be happy to meet your group at the park pavilion, backyard tent or just about any private or public space. If setting up a class outdoors, it is required to provide our group with sun/wind/rain shelter (even if it will not rain) and adequate space and lighting to teach. Under a pavilion with enough picnic tables for everyone to draw is best!
**We do not offer refunds for inclement weather. Please list an alternate indoor location next to your preferred outdoor location if booking an outdoor event.
Artist has the right to cease teaching and leave without refunding any monies if there are extreme adverse working conditions and the Client fails to remedy the situation after it has been brought to the Client’s attention. Adverse conditions include but not limited to: destructive, violent, or extreme, inappropriate behavior of a child or adult; illegal activities; dangerous weather or
work environment conditions; dangerous conditions in general.

BOOKING YOUR CLASS:
In order to reserve your class, $100 is due at time of booking. This amount is nonrefundable and goes towards the first 5 attendees in the class.
Payments can be made by cash, Venmo or card (small cc fee applies).
We DO accept Business Checks.
Additional attendees are welcome to pay their $20 fee up until the day BEFORE your event. Additional payments can be made by either cash, Venmo or card (small cc fee applies per each transaction).
**If you will have more than 5 attendees, please give us a 24 hour notice of additional attendees to make sure artist brings additional supplies.

BYOB!
For adults 21+ booking a private class, you are welcome to bring your own food/drinks (according to any venue agreements signed by attendee booking the space).
*Our artist does not hold a liquor license, will not serve alcohol and cannot be held liable for any under age drinking, damages, or fees that should occur for not following venue agreements.

ALL NATURAL HENNA:
Our pure Henna paste is safe for all people with sensitive skin or allergies and does not cause allergic reactions. The only ingredients we use are: Organic Henna powder, water, sugar, and essential oils which is safe for dying hair, skin and fabrics. Acidic lemon juice that is sometimes used in real Henna paste can cause dryness which is why we opted out and ONLY use water instead.
**For liability reasons, we must state that our artist is not responsible for damage to clothing or property, and is not liable for assumed allergic reactions to Henna.
We will NEVER offer 'Black Henna' to anyone! Black Henna is the result of mixing organic Henna with a chemical called para-phenylenediaime or PPD (used in most hair dyes) which can cause severe rashes, blistering and chemical burns in most people. We only offer safe, natural organic Henna at all events and classes.

PHOTO RELEASE: I hereby grant Skin Colour Events permission to use my likeness in a photograph or video without payment or other consideration.

NON REFUNDABLE: Your $100 Booking Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. *I do not offer refunds for inclement weather so please provide an alternate indoor space if your event is taking place outdoors.
Should the Artist get sick or have an emergency, every effort will be made to find a replacement Artist, but if we are not successful, the full amount will be refunded.
