Please read, digest and provide your agreement to the following terms, which pertain to the rules regarding anti-doping and the consent to being drug tested under the terms of your membership with British Powerlifting.
Any member of British Powerlifting may be called upon for drug testing at any time, and this includes at divisional championships.
All lifters who are participating in North West Powerlifting competitions should compete the form below prior to competing. If you do not do so, you will not be permitted to lift.
As a member of the British Powerlifting, I hereby acknowledge and agree as follows:
- I have read and understood the British Powerlifting and IPF Anti-Doping Rules;
- I consent and agree to comply with and be bound by all the provisions of the British Powerlifting and IPF Anti Doping Rules, including but not limited to all amendments and international standards incorporated;
- I acknowledge and agree that the British Powerlifting and the IPF has jurisdiction to impose sanctions as provided in the aforementioned rules;
- I also acknowledge and agree that any dispute arising out of a decision made pursuant to the IPF and British Powerlifting Anti-Doping Rules, may be appealed to the British Powerlifting Board.
- I acknowledge and agree that the decisions of the International Powerlifting Federation are final and enforceable and that I will not bring any claim, arbitration, lawsuit or litigation in any court of law or tribunal; except as provided for in the Articles and By-Laws.
- I understand I am not permitted to leave the venue of a sanctioned competition until the conclusion of the awards ceremony for my designated session and failure to do so, without permission may result in disciplinary action.
- I am aware of the resources available to me from North West Powerlifting, British Powerlifting and the IPF.
