~All skaters, returning and new, who are interested in private lessons MUST COMPLETE THIS FORM.
~Families with multiple skaters should complete one form per skater.
~Your responses will assist GPFSC in determining staffing and ice needs. Selection of a specific day/time does not constitute a guarantee of that day/time for a lesson. Demand for private lessons will be at an all-time high this season and every effort will be made to accommodate all requests as ice time and coaching availability allows.
~As of Sept 1 the ice schedule has NOT been finalized by the Bay Center. Once the ice schedule is finalized by the Bay Center, all respondents will receive an update regarding your request, private lesson availability.
~Skaters must be enrolled in group lessons in order be eligible for private lessons.
~Private lesson coach fees range from $12-$16 for a 15-minute lesson or $24-$32 for a 30-minute lesson, plus the ice time cost of $15 per hour. Virtual ice time punch cards will be available for purchase prior to the season start.
Private lessons are one-on-one time with a certified Learn to Skate USA instructor. Coaches provide individualized instruction for both figure skaters and hockey players. Private lessons are recommended for skaters interested in:
- Accelerating progress
- Receiving individual or semi-private instruction
- Focusing on specific elements he/she is struggling with
- Creating a routine for an ice show
- Attending Test Sessions or Competing at local/regional skating competitions
