Hello, All.

We certainly do miss seeing and engaging with everyone and, obviously wish we could once again gather to coach, volunteer and/or participate in our amazing programs!  We hope you have been staying safe and healthy during these trying times and that we will soon be able to celebrate the fact that the world came together while the people stayed apart!

At this time, SOBC has suspended all in-person programs until further notice. We remain optimistic, however, that these restrictions will be lifted in the New Year and we hope to resume some programs.

The Provincial Health Officer, as you well know, suggests that masks be worn to protect ourselves and others from COVID-19.  If we are able to resume our programs, all participants (athletes/coaches/volunteers) will be required to wear masks. The fact is that, until this pandemic is no longer a concern, the need for masks will remain.

We are excited to announce that Special Olympics BC masks (red & black options) are now available to be purchased (see below for pictures).

Orders will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. We have limited quantities of each colour, so please put in your order by filling out the form below as soon as possible.

Delivery: Masks will be mailed by Canada Post to the address submitted, so please make sure you have provided the correct mailing address and postal code. As this is a very busy time for Canada Post, shipments should be expected to take between 7-14 business days.

Cost:
Athlete masks will be subsidized. The cost of the FIRST mask ordered will be $5 and any additional mask(s) will cost $15 each (i.e. 1 mask = $5, 2 masks = $20, 3 masks = $35, 4 masks = $50, 5 masks = $65, etc.).

Any other interested parties will be charged the usual $15 per mask.

Payment:
During this time, we are encouraged to stay away from exchanging cash.

For athletes, the total cost of masks purchased will be deducted from their Spring 2020 registration fees. If an athlete does not have any remaining credit on their SOBC-NS account, they will be contacted and asked to pay via Paypal/credit card (link below).
