One Health Research Symposium Registration
The NC State Global One Health Academy will be hosting its inaugural One Health Research Symposium on Friday, April 12th, 2024 from 1 to 5pm at the McKimmon Center. This half-day event is designed to spark excitement and spur academic conversation and new collaborations around One Health - a framework that recognizes the interconnected nature of plant, animal, human, and environmental health. The symposium will feature:
  • Opening address from Rob Dunn, Senior Vice Provost for University Interdisciplinary Programs, on "Futures of One Health"
  • Feature presentations and panel discussion from invited One Health experts Tracey Goldstein (Colorado State University) on "Using the One Health Approach to Reduce Pandemic Risk and Promote Global Health" and Stacey Oliver (RTI International) on "One Health, One RTI to Improve the Human Condition"
  • Presentations from the 23-24 Global One Health Fellows
  • Networking opportunities
