Barney Lake Conservation Area Public Access Survey
The Barney Lake Conservation Area is located on the edge of the City of Mount Vernon.  This 368-acre protected property along Nookachamps Creek and seasonal Barney Lake provides critical floodwater storage for the Skagit River, and habitat for an array of native wildlife species. Protection of wildlife habitat and the ecosystem of Barney Lake remains important as we develop a low-impact, wildlife compatible public access plan.

Your opinion matters!
Take this short survey and share your thoughts on how local community members like yourself would like to use the Barney Lake Conservation Area for low-impact, wildlife compatible recreation.

Skagit Land Trust is a community supported, nonprofit conservation organization that owns and manages conservation lands throughout Skagit County. The Trust has worked for the past 30 years to protect and care for 10,000 acres of natural lands across Skagit County.
