2022 Global Citizens Summer Camp Scholarship Application

Global Citizens Summer Camp has a limited number of scholarships, valued at up to $500 per child, available for students who qualify for the free or reduced-price lunch program. In addition, we will consider additional factors such as extenuating family circumstances.

* Scholarship funds will be applied directly to the student’s summer program account.
* Scholarship funds are only usable by the student whom the scholarship is granted and for the Global Citizens Summer Program only.
* All scholarships are confidential. Applicants agree to refrain from discussing awards with others.
* If the family denies or fails to return acceptance by the deadline specified, then the scholarship is released to another student.
* The family must pay any remaining balance due on the program account after scholarship funds have been applied.
* Scholarships cannot combine with other camp discounts.
* Cancellation of camp session is permitted no less than 14 days before the session begins, must be done in writing/email to summerprograms@hopeccs.org, and will result in a $50 cancellation fee.

Submit the following to mealbenefits@hopeccs.org within one week of registration of summer camp: Proof of eligibility (supporting documentation to verify your household income or circumstances. This may include tax returns, a statement of benefits or documentation from your school lunch program, or a signed statement from a school official that you are income eligible for free or reduced price lunches, or a statement from a caseworker or other professional who is familiar with your family’s circumstances).

If your scholarship is approved and funding is available, you will be notified by e-mail. At that time we will proceed with your summer camp registration . Camp scholarships are valid only for the summer immediately following approval.
