What is the collection?
The collection is in honor of Brother Kevin Dalmasse and the immeasurable legacy he has created through his work as a teacher, coach, and mentor. We hope to share stories that are about him, conversations with him, reflections on how he has influenced his students, and short essays about topics he had such a passion for.
Who is organizing this?
A group of Central Catholic alumni are submitting the calls for submissions with the help of distributors. We will assemble and format the essays after the submission deadline of April 1. Our focus is the communities of Central Catholic, La Salle College High School, and the Christian Brothers.
Who is allowed to contribute?
We encourage anyone who knew Brother Kevin to contribute: whether a former student, peer, or colleague we all have more than a few great stories from the time we spent with him. The goal of putting all these stories into one place is to share them with everyone. It is also our intention to present physical copies to the Dalmasse family, Central Catholic, and La Salle College High School in addition to the digital copy that will be made available to the public.
What is the deadline for submitting an essay contribution?
We hope to gather essay contributions by April 1, 2021, hopefully giving those interested enough time to devote to writing their story. Our plan is to then collate the pieces into a volume in time for high school graduation season, specifically May 30, 2021.

If you are interested in contributed but think you cannot make that deadline, send us an email about your concerns. We want to make contributing as easy as possible within a realistic timeframe.
What kind of contributions are expected?
Essays can be any length about any topic pertaining to Brother Kevin, his life, or his teaching. We encourage considering a mid-sized reflective essay around the length of 4-6 pages, but again any contributions are welcome.
