All Sports Club at Bryanston School
Dear Parents,

We are delighted to announce that our much loved residential sports course at Bryanston School will be going ahead this summer.  The Department for Education have recently announced that residential trips for children can start again from 17th May, subject to the Government's unlocking 'roadmap' staying on track.  As you can imagine, we have been in regular contact with Bryanston School throughout the pandemic and they can't wait to welcome us back for what will be our 20th year!  We will obviously follow any  government guidelines that might still be in place, to ensure that everyone can enjoy a safe and rewarding sports experience in the beautiful Dorset countryside.

For those new to the All Sports Club experience at Bryanston, here is a brief outline of what the children can expect. The course is run by All Sports Club; a specialist sports coaching company who have been organising unforgettable sports holidays at Bryanston School for children aged 8-15 for the last 20 years. During the week children will participate in a full programme of training and coaching in a variety of sports including cricket, tennis, football, basketball, squash, badminton, swimming, hockey, netball, table tennis and volleyball.   A host of tournaments and matches will be organised in a range of sports. Teams of children from schools including St Anthony’s, St Paul's Juniors, Fulham Prep, Arnold House, Wimbledon High, Newton Prep, RPPS and St Paul's Cathedral School will provide well-matched competition throughout the course. All levels of ability are catered for, however, it is expected that participants have an interest and basic sporting competency in at least one of the sports on offer.  In addition to my input, the children will enjoy expert coaching from the All Sports Club team who are carefully chosen for their extensive experience of coaching sport in the Independent school sector.  This year’s team will comprise, amongst others The Director of Sport of Falcons School for Boys, The Director of Sport at Fulham Prep, The Director of Sport at St Anthony's School and the Director of Sport at St Paul's Juniors.

For budding sports stars, there could hardly be a better place than Bryanston. Set in a beautiful 400-acre site, the school has outstanding facilities. Ten grass cricket nets and several high-quality wickets for match play are available.  The football training sessions make the most of the carefully prepared grass five a side and eleven a side football pitches. A real unique aspect of Bryanston School is the huge number of tennis courts, a staggering 54 in total! This includes ten high-quality grass courts. The school also has several netball courts, two full sized water based astro-turf pitches for hockey and a brand new sports complex.  This houses three sports halls, four squash courts, four indoor cricket nets, a dance studio, a fitness suite, a spin bike room, a 25 metre swimming pool and indoor athletics track!  All Sports Club have exclusive use of Bryanston's sports facilities.

Children will follow an exciting and diverse timetable of sports training, matches and tournaments.  Given the light nights, sports play goes on well into the evening after which time children are given free time to watch DVD’s and relax before lights out at a sensible time.  Accommodation will be in one of the school’s boarding houses; one for boys and another for the girls.  Various room options are available including singles, twins and quads. The week is action-packed but no one goes hungry; three excellent meals each day are taken in the school’s dining room.

The course will cost £575 which covers all food, accommodation, activities, sports coaching, an All Sports Club t-shirt and return travel to Bryanston.  A sibling discount is available; first child £575 any further children £525.  We also accept child care vouchers.

To reserve a place on the course simply complete this google form. Given that spaces are limited on the course and in expectation of being over subscribed, I would recommend registering  (and paying for your child) early to avoid missing out on a place.  Although we may be operating in a slightly different way this year, we hope you agree that giving your children the opportunity to be with friends, play sports and enjoy the outdoors is now more important than ever!
