Greetings Parents,
Thank you for your feedback on the EICS Assurance surveys you completed earlier this year. While we heard through the survey from both parents and students that there were a great many areas of success, we are growth-focused and truly value your feedback to make our school the best it can be.  Thank you for taking the time to give our school further feedback on how to address the areas of challenge/growth that were identified in our 2022/23 School Assurance Parent Survey.

1. Diverse Programming: 
The lack of French and Music options in our school was an area flagged as concerning. 

What are your thoughts on this topic? Would your student take these subjects if they were an option?

2.  Treatment of students:  
There was a discrepancy between parents' and students' responses when answering the questions surrounding the treatment of students. 

Can you give an anecdote or comment on how you feel your child is treated by the adults in the building, whether it be treatment by administrators, teachers, or support/office staff (positively/negatively/both)?

 3. Student Learning:  
There was a large discrepancy between parents and students when answering the question "Student's are learning what they need to know." with Students at 93% YES and parents at 69% YES. This indicates that parents are not satisfied with this topic. 

What are your thoughts regarding students learning what they need to know?

4. Systemic Wellness:
What is St. Mary's doing well in the area of mental/physical/spiritual health for our students?

5. Individual Student Plans (ISPs)

There seemed to be a concern over communication and the effectiveness surrounding ISPs for students.
