This FREE 4-week writing workshop runs through June 1-July 5th, 2020. The workshop is focused on exploring sexuality and gender identity through writing. Each week, participants will receive an email with a writing prompt as well as a short assigned reading to go along with the prompt. They will have the freedom to write in any genre that speaks to them, whether that be journaling, poetry, fiction, or essays. The instructor (Sage) will contact the participants during the week to check in on how the prompt is going for them. There will also be an opportunity each week to do a virtual check-in through Zoom with the group. The group check-in is completely optional.
This experience is whatever you want to make it - whether you want to be in community and share your writing OR use these prompts to privately reflect on your own.  Please keep in mind that this workshop is only for folks who are LGBTQIA+, which includes anyone who is questioning their gender or sexuality.
