CIE currently has several projects that Global Student Peer Advisors can work on. Here is your chance to select projects that you are interested in and would like to work on as a peer advisor. 3-4 are sufficient, and you may choose projects from both categories.  Simply choose Yes for interested and No for otherwise.
International Student Related Projects *

Support and advise international students on matters related to academic performance, internship opportunities, and career planning.
Seek intl students’ outside opportunities (internships, research programs, scholarships). Market them to fellow students
Suggest improvements to CIE processes, advising resources, web content, and other CIE international student resources.
Prepare reports and statistics on international student enrollment/ initiatives and study abroad diversity and engagement.
Suggest, develop, and lead social and transitional activities to support students’ integration to Albion and the United States and bonding between international students. Develop ideas/materials for and participate actively in CIE cultural competence workshop.
Hosting movie nights and maintaining intl student “safe spaces” like the Global Commons.
Provide marketing/communication support for CIE which include reuglar communications to intl student body, managing CIE’s social media, organizing Global Contest photo
Actively engaged in student organizations. Share information between International Student Union and CIE. Hold 1-2 workshops on topics of cultural competence which is available to all students each year.
Orientation Peer Mentor: assist newly incoming international students in their orientation week
