The nonprofit NFPA Fire Sprinkler Initiative and Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition (HFSC) are teaming up to recognize outstanding efforts by a safety advocate who diligently promotes the importance of home fire sprinklers.

The Bringing Safety Home Award honors members of the fire service and other fire sprinkler advocates who use HFSC, NFPA data, and Fire Sprinkler Initiative resources to educate decision makers on home fire sprinklers and convince them to support sprinkler requirements at the local, state, or provincial level.

The award recipient will be announced during Home Fire Sprinkler Week May 15-21, 2022. The recipient will receive a plaque and a $1,000 honorarium for home fire sprinkler activities. HFSC and NFPA will also promote the winner via stories appearing on its websites and social media channels.
