Selecting our first Funded Feature
We have agreed as a community that we will be exploring fundraising for specific features.

Firstly we participated in two meetings that explored the criteria for our initial funded features and the kinds of features we might like to raise funds for.

There we decided that we would focus on something small (max 3 dev days, 1/2 design, 1/2 day product). We decided that the feature needed to be interesting and attractive enough that enterprises would contribute funds towards it. We decided that the feature needed to have a wide appeal around the world.

From our initial long list of 11 potential features suggested in the initial meetings a few members of the delivery team came together to decide if these features were small enough. We now have a shorter list of 5 potential features.

Now we need instances around the world to help decide which feature we should choose. We need this feature to be:
1) Exciting enough that you think you can raise some funds towards it.
2) Exciting enough to enough different instances that we can raise funds widely

In this form we'll go through each of the five features to find out how appealing this feature is to your instance.


For each of these features we'll be seeking to raise 4,500 Euro in total to deliver the chosen feature.

The five shortlisted features are:
1: Direct Links/URLs to Products
2: Notify Producers Button - add shopper names
3. Product Export
4. Tagging OCs to Shipping/Payment methods
5. Alert when OC reaches certain number of orders
