Simulation Details:
Madison-area Urban Ministry's Reentry Simulation put participants in the role of someone who has just been released from prison. The interactive workshop sheds light on the numerous barriers individuals returning to the community face.

Three Parts of the Reentry Simulation:
·         Introduction to restorative justice and Madison-area Urban Ministry programs
·         Role play
·         Reflections with panel and Q&A with formerly incarcerated individuals

A successful simulation will have at least 30 participants and we can accommodate for up to 150 as long as the space provided will work. Fifteen different “stations” for community resource tables are set up in the simulation space along with enough seating for participants. Simulations are three hours, however depending on the size of the group, some simulations can be done within two and a half hours, if requested.

Madison-area Urban Ministry has a copyright on our Reentry Simulations and we do charge to facilitate. The price for a local (Dane Co) simulation is $2,500 and that can be split between groups, congregations, departments, etc. Prices for simulations held outside of Dane County are calculated based on distance, time, etc.

Simulation information, forms, and materials cannot be taken or used by simulation participants or volunteers.
