TIMS Training Survey: 2024 Winter\Spring\Summer TIMS Courses from NCSU-ITRE

Below is the Schedule of 2024 TIMS Courses, from January until July, hosted by NCSU-ITRE.

All courses will be held via Zoom with the majority of TIMS Courses having Open Enrollment and available to any TIMS Operator, Transportation Director or other Transportation Staff interested in attending. Only the New Users Class, Geocode Certification (MARIS 1 & 2), Boundary Planning and Transfer Stops Courses have limited seating and require final approval to attend. Exceptions may be made and class rosters adjusted based on specific LEA needs and training priorities around the state.

For the Open Enrollment Courses, please complete the survey response (click Yes) and Complete the Registration Links for each open enrollment class. Upon completing the Registration Link, you will receive a Calendar Invitation and Zoom Link for the future course.

For the TIMS Classes with Limited Seating, please indicate your interest in the course as Lead TIMS Staff may receive priority seating over Secondary or Backup TIMS Staff. We will notify interested staff of final class rosters and availability two weeks prior to class.

We are also offering Open Enrollment LEA Planning Session Webinars in February, April, May and July - covering various TIMS Work and Routing Tasks to focus on during these months. We encourage everyone to attend these sessions.

3) Jan 23rd-25th: TIMS New Users - LIMITED SEATING

LIMITED SEATING: MARIS Certification - 2 Part Class, 5 Days Total
4) Jan 30th, 31st, Feb 1st: TIMS Geocode Certification (MARIS #1) - 12 Hours Total
6) Feb 13th & 14th: TIMS Geocode Certification (MARIS #2) - 8 Hours Total

5) LIMITED SEATING: Transfer Stops and Mid-Day Routes - 2 Days, 8hrs Total

February 6th & 7th: TIMS Transfer Stops & Mid-day Routes

7) Feb 20th: Edulog Maintenance Utility (EMU) & UPSTU Processes - OPEN ENROLLMENT

8) Feb 22nd: MARIS #3 & MARIS Refresher Course - OPEN ENROLLMENT

9) Feb 28th: Fall & Summer Planning Webinar - OPEN ENROLLMENT - AM Session

10) March 5th-6th: LIMITED SEATING: Student Enrollment & Boundary Planning - 2 Days, 8hrs Total

12) April 10th: LEA Planning/Check In Session Webinar - OPEN ENROLLMENT - AM Session

13) April 23rd-25th: TIMS New Users Class - LIMITED SEATING

15) NCPTA Conference in Asheville - June 17th to June 21st

16) July 10th: LEA Planning Session - After YET and Day 1 Route Prep - OPEN ENROLLMENT

17) July 16th-18th: - TIMS New Users Class - LIMITED SEATING

18) July 24th: Back to School\Open House Reports for TIMS Operators
