6 Week Program for the Middle School Voice

Programs are a set of lessons with specific goals in mind. These are different from regular lessons because we will be less flexible on the content of their lessons. Instead of letting students pick their own repertoire, they will be assigned songs. TRVS programs are designed to prepare a young singer for auditions as well as jump start their technique. Students will be expected to work towards attainable goals we will set together. Their practice time will be more structured with checkpoints along the way. 

This program features:

  • 45 minute lessons

  • Ear training and basic theory

  • 3 assigned contrasting songs to build their personal repertoire

  • a focus on establishing register feelings (beginning to identify head and chest voice)
