PULSE COMPETITION TRYOUTS 2024-2025
Tryouts will take place Sunday June 9th, 2024 @ 1:00 PM at PULSE Dance Studio (Tiny dancers do NOT have to tryout but will need to signup by May 31st that they are interested.)

  • Please wear all black for tryouts, hair up, and wear your dance shoes! You will be assigned a number when you arrive and be placed in a group of about 3 or 4. 
  • Dancers are required to tryout for the youngest age group that they qualify for. Coach Kara will review the judge's score sheets and place the dancers where they qualify. Dancers have the potential of being on 1-2 competition teams depending on their age and judge's scoresheets.
  • Please indicate below if you are interested in being on 2 teams! *Only if your dancer's age qualifies for more than 1 team. Dancer's can't do two teams at the same age level (Ex: Dancer's can't do both Youth Prep and Youth Elite).
  • NEW this season- dancers who are interested in doing a solo/duet/trio must do an additional tryout to earn a spot with our solos/duets/trios. More details to come! 
  • All competitive dance teams will perform at basketball halftimes and recital!
  • Please see tryout packet for all details and requirements! Dancers must attend ALL competitions and performances. Competing as a teammate, soloist, duet, or trio is a BIG commitment and we want passionate dancers to help build our competition teams!

Tiny "Pulse Petite": Ages 5-7 
Minis "Pulse Gems": Ages 6-9 
Youth Prep "Pulse Ice": Ages 9-12
Youth "Pulse Diamonds": Ages 9-12
Junior Prep "Pulse Sapphire": Ages 11-16
Junior "Pulse Royals": Ages 11-16 
Senior "Pulse Platinum": Ages 13-18
