If you are a breastfeeding mama, you'll want to avoid peppermint oil for now. While peppermint isn't harmful to your baby, it can cause your milk supply to diminish. It's a wonderful tool to help ease the discomfort of weaning your baby when the time comes, but if that isn't your intention then use peppermint sparingly or not at all for the time being.
