Thank you for your interest in being one of the storytellers at the Brag Ball, our May 6th Late Nights at the Taubman in partnership with Hustle/Haven. This month's focus is on mental health and the Brag Ball is an event focused on dressing up, feeling great and cheering on others AND yourself.
In order to participate, we're asking those interested to submit an original story about something they've overcome, accomplished or something they did that made them feel empowered. It must be about the storyteller, it must be true, and it must be under 8 minutes when read to a live audience.
Tentative Schedule for May 6th, 2022:
5-10 pm: The museum's galleries will be open. You can also purchase drinks and small plates at the café.
6-8 pm: Music, drinks and food in the Atrium
8-9:30 pm: Brag Ball show in the Taubman's black box theatre
If you're interested in participating, please submit this form and the required information by the following deadlines:
Friday, April 15th: Story submissions are due
Friday, April 22nd: Selected submissions will be notified of their acceptance
Sunday, May 1st: Mandatory dress rehearsal from 2 pm to 4 pm
Sunday, May 6th: Brag Ball evening - MUST be able to attend
